4 à 6 Les rois te célébreront.

Tous les rois. La grâce accordée à David sera célébrée par tous les rois, parce qu'elle lui est accordée pour le bien de tous. C'est ici comme la contrepartie de ce qui a été dit au psaume précédent : dans l'exil, Israël ne pouvait pas chanter en présence d'étrangers les cantiques de Sion ; notre psalmiste annonce le temps où ces étrangers eux-mêmes entonneront ces cantiques.

Les paroles de ta bouche : ta promesse, dont ils contempleront avec étonnement l'accomplissement.
