Il garde tous ses os... Il est rernarquable qu'au moment du supplice du Seigneur, Dieu ait voulu que cette promesse s'accomplît à la lettre (Jean 19.36). Il n'en est pas toujours de même en ce qui concerne les fidèles, dont la justice est d'ailleurs imparfaite. La sollicitude de l'Eternel ne s'en étend pas moins à tout ce qui appartient à ses enfants, puisque même les cheveux de leur tête sont comptés (Matthieu 10.30).
