Les bontés (ou les grâces) de l'Eternel..., ta fidélité. La promesse procède de la pure grâce de Dieu ; elle subsiste par sa fidélité (voir Psaumes 25.10, note).

D'âge en âge, ou : de génération en génération. Le psalmiste parle au nom de l'Israël croyant de tous les temps. Lui-même, s'il s'agit d'Ethan, a vu trois générations de rois.
