De la verge... Le psalmiste ne reproduit pas l'expression : verge d'hommes (2Samuel 7.14), qui indiquait que le châtiment n'irait pas jusqu'à l'entière destruction, mais cette pensée n'en est pas moins exprimée au verset 34.
