Conclusion.

Tes témoignages : Ta loi, qui établit les principes éternels de ton règne (Psaumes 19.8), et tes promesses, en vertu desquelles ton peuple subsiste, se sont montrées aussi indestructibles que véritables.

Ta maison : ton temple, le témoin visible de ta royauté au sein d'Israël.

La sainteté sied à cette maison ; il convient que le peuple de Dieu lui conserve son caractère de lieu saint et ne la change pas en caverne de voleurs (Matthieu 21.13) ; il convient aussi que les peuples idolâtres ne parviennent pas à la profaner. Il convient de même que le sanctuaire de la vie intérieure du fidèle reste la propriété exclusive du Roi des rois.
