Le but final de la rédemption, ce qui a porté le Sauveur à se donner pour nous, est clairement exposé dans ces paroles : Nous racheter, nous purifier, se créer un peuple particulier, zélateur des bonnes œuvres. ( 2.3 ; 8 ; Ephésiens 2.10)
Et tout cela est produit par la manifestation de la grâce. ( 2.11,12)
Une telle vie, riche de tous les fruits de cette grâce, est donc le seul signe certain que nous y avons part, et que nous appartenons à Jésus-Christ.
