Jusqu'à la fin ne signifie pas la fin de la vie actuelle, mais de l'économie présente, jusqu'au jour de Jésus-Christ. Au delà de ce jour, il n'y aura plus de danger. Cette sainte assurance du salut, dont ses épîtres sont toutes remplies, Paul l'avait aussi pour les chrétiens de Corinthe.
