2 Rois 19.37

Un jour, il est en train de prier dans le temple de Nisrok, son dieu. Deux de ses fils, Adrammélek et Saresser, le tuent et fuient au pays d’Ararat. Un autre de ses fils, Assarhadon, devient roi à sa place.
