Les prostitutions : l'idolâtrie,comme le montre le terme suivant d'enchantements. La divination faisait partie intégrante des cultes païens.

Cette réponse de Jéhu ouvre les yeux du roi. Jézabel était la principale coupable ; mais Joram, après avoir commencé à lutter contre sa pernicieuse influence, n'avait pas eu l'énergie de pousser jusqu'au bout la réforme (3.2).
