11 Ă  13 L'approche de l'Eternel, montĂ© sur le chĂ©rubin, littĂ©ralement : montĂ© sur chĂ©rubin. Ce terme peut donc ĂȘtre pris ici dans un sens collectif. Les chĂ©rubins, comme nous l'avons vu au chapitre 1 d'EzĂ©chiel, sont le symbole des forces de la nature qui obĂ©issent Ă  Dieu et dont il se sert pour accomplir les Ɠuvres de sa puissance. Tandis que dans les religions idolĂątres ces forces sont elles-mĂȘmes divinisĂ©es, elles apparaissent dans la religion israĂ©lite comme portant le trĂŽne divin.
