Aux mots : que Paul lui donnerait de l'argent, le texte reçu ajoute ceux-ci : afin qu'il le mit en liberté. Ils ne sont pas authentiques, mais il complètent la pensée.

Félix pouvait bien savoir que son prisonnier n'était pas riche, mais il savait aussi que ses frères en la foi n'épargneraient rien pour sa liberté.
