Apocalypse 22.12. Le principe du jugement selon les œuvres (Romains 2.6) subsiste même avec le salut par grâce ; car les œuvres, qui comprennent la vie entière, les sentiments du cœur comme les actes extérieurs, démontrent la régénération et la sanctification par laquelle l'âme doit passer pour posséder la vie éternelle. Tel est aussi l'enseignement de Jésus dans Matthieu 16.27, de Paul dans 2Corinthiens 5.10.
