Tout mâle. Il va sans dire que les femmes étaient libres d'accompagner les hommes quand elles le pouvaient.

L'on ne paraîtra pas les mains vides : non seulement parce qu'en Orient on ne s'approche pas d'un supérieur sans lui offrir quelque présent (Lévitique 1.2, note), mais encore en signe de dépendance à l'égard du Dieu de qui l'on tient tout.
