Dans Sa Sagesse, Dieu n’a pas jugé bon de nous faire connaître le futur, afin que nous soyons toujours prêts à affronter les aléas de la vie, dans une totale confiance en Lui.

Nous devons tous mourir : il n’y a aucune échappatoire, nul endroit caché ne pourra nous abriter de ce fléau, aucune arme nous permettre d'y résister, de manière efficace. Des milliers d'âmes meurent chaque jour : nombreuses sont celles qui disparaissent chaque minute, à tout moment.

Le fait de songer à la mort est très solennel : puisions-nous avoir la sagesse, de comprendre la réalité de cette dernière, afin de pouvoir vraiment considérer quel sera notre futur, vers l’au-delà ! Seul le croyant est préparé à rencontrer la « sentence solennelle. » La ruse et le mal, qui permettent parfois aux hommes d’échapper à la justice humaine, ne peuvent les préserver de la mort...
