Qu'en tout temps..., et non pas seulement dans les jours de fête.

Tes vêtements soient blancs : en signe de joie et de sérénité (Horace, Satyres, II, 2, 59-61). Quel défi jeté aux tristesses de la vie ! Comparez 2Samuel 12.20.

Que l'huile ne manque point... Voir Psaumes 23.5 et, dans Psaumes 45.8, l'expression huile de joie.
