World English Bible These shall lift up their voice. They will shout for the majesty of Yahweh. They cry aloud from the sea.

Ceux-là : les fidèles dont il vient d'être parlé.

Des bords de la mer : des bords de la Méditerranée, des extrémités de l'occident, c'est-à-dire du monde (au point de vue d'un habitant de la Palestine ; comparez les îles du couchant et le bout de la terre versets 15 et 16). Le jugement a passé sur le monde et dispersé les élus aux quatre vents du ciel (11.12 ; Matthieu 24.31).

La majesté de l'Eternel : qui vient d'éclater dans le jugement de la grande cité. Comparez 2.11,17.

      Esaïe 12

      1 In that day you will say, "I will give thanks to you, Yahweh; for though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you comfort me.
      2 Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Yah, Yahweh, is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation."
      3 Therefore with joy you will draw water out of the wells of salvation.
