World English Bible and kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for Yahweh had made them joyful, and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, to strengthen their hands in the work of God's house, the God of Israel.

La fête des pains sans levain... toute la semaine qui suivit le jour proprement dit de Pâques (Exode 12.15).

Roi d'Assyrie : le roi perse qui régnait alors sur l'Assyrie. C'est ainsi que Cyrus (5.14) a été appelé roi de Babylone. Un grand empire est considéré comme un tout qui se continue sous la domination de souverains tirés de peuples différents.
