Au premier mois, le premier jour du mois, tu dresseras le tabernacle de la tente d'assignation ;

D'après 19.1, il s'était écoulé dix mois depuis l'arrivée à Sinaï. Si nous défalquons de ces dix mois les quelques jours qui avaient précédé le don de la loi, les deux séjours de quarante jours de Moïse sur la montagne et le court espace qui avait séparé ces deux séjours, il nous reste un peu moins de six mois pour la construction du Tabernacle. C'est court, mais avec le zèle qu'on mit à ce travail, cet espace de temps paraît suffisant.
