World English Bible When all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread, and Pharaoh said to all the Egyptians, "Go to Joseph. What he says to you, do."

Fut affamé. Les auteurs anciens nous ont laissé des descriptions épouvantables de la famine en Egypte. Dans des moments pareils, on en venait jusqu'à manger de la chair humaine, et les autorités étaient impuissantes à empêcher ces atrocités.
