Israël : le peuple d'Israël.

Bénisse par toi. Quand on voudra souhaiter à quelqu'un la plus grande prospérité possible, on lui souhaitera celle d'Ephraïm et de Manassé.

Si l'histoire, des patriarches n'était qu'une série de mythes, destinés à expliquer la position respective des tribus à un moment donné, ce récit serait un non-sens. D'où serait venue l'idée que celui des deux frères qui est inférieur en nombre et en puissance était l'aîné ?
