World English Bible Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.

Le trône de la Majesté divine apparaît à l'homme qui a conscience du péché, comme le trône de la justice ; mais il devient le trône de la grâce pour toute âme réconciliée avec Dieu par Celui qui intercède en sa faveur (Hébreux 4.14, note ; Hébreux 1.3,8 ; 2.9) et qui a compassion de ses infirmités. (Hébreux 4.15, note.)

Obtenir miséricorde et trouver grâce sont des expressions à peu près synonymes, mais que l'auteur emploie à dessein pour nous inspirer d'autant plus de confiance en cette miséricorde, (Hébreux 2.17) en cette grâce, source d'un secours que Dieu envoie toujours dans le temps où nous en avons le plus grand besoin. (1Corinthiens 10.13)

Le secours opportun peut signifier aussi un secours reçu à temps, avant qu'il soit trop tard.
