Alors tu leur répondras : ‘Vos ancêtres m'ont abandonné, déclare l'Eternel. Ils ont suivi d'autres dieux, les ont servis et se sont prosternés devant eux. Ils m'ont abandonné, ils n'ont pas respecté ma loi.
וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם עַל֩ אֲשֶׁר־עָזְב֨וּ אֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֤ם אוֹתִי֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה וַיֵּלְכ֗וּ אַֽחֲרֵי֙ אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים וַיַּעַבְד֖וּם וַיִּשְׁתַּחֲו֣וּ לָהֶ֑ם וְאֹתִ֣י עָזָ֔בוּ וְאֶת־תּוֹרָתִ֖י לֹ֥א שָׁמָֽרוּ׃
Et tu leur diras : parce que vos pères m'ont abandonné, dit l'Eternel, et sont allés après d'autres dieux, et les ont servis, et se sont prosternés devant eux, et m'ont abandonné, et n'ont point gardé ma Loi,

  29 and testified against them, that you might bring them again to your law. Yet they dealt proudly, and didn't listen to your commandments, but sinned against your ordinances, (which if a man does, he shall live in them), turned their backs, stiffened their neck, and would not hear.
