World English Bible I have laid a snare for you, and you are also taken, Babylon, and you weren't aware: you are found, and also caught, because you have striven against Yahweh.

Sans t'en douter. Cette prophétie a été accomplie à la lettre. Deux fois, sous Cyrus et sous Darius, Babylone fut prise par ruse, et les ennemis étaient maîtres de la ville avant que la grande cité se doutât de sa perte (Hérodote I, 191 ; III, 158).
