Levez-vous ! Le peuple, après avoir écouté debout la lecture de la Loi, s'était prosterné pour confesser ses fautes (verset 4). Maintenant il est invité à se lever pour bénir Dieu, et la tribune (8.4) n'est plus occupée par les mêmes Lévites que lors du verset 4. Bunni, Bani et Kénani du verset 4 sont remplacés par Hasabnia, Hodija et Péthachia.
