Phinées, fils d'Éléazar, fils d'Aaron, le sacrificateur, a détourné mon courroux de dessus les fils d'Israël, étant jaloux de ma jalousie au milieu d'eux, de sorte que je ne consumasse pas les fils d'Israël dans ma jalousie.

Segond 21 « Phinées, fils d'Eléazar et petit-fils du prêtre Aaron, a détourné ma fureur des Israélites, parce qu'il a été animé de mon zèle au milieu d'eux. Ainsi je n'ai pas, dans ma colère, détruit les Israélites.
