Aux juges d'Israël : les juges institués Exode 18.19-26, auxquels les chefs de tribus devaient livrer les coupables et qui avaient à prononcer la sentence.

Ceux de ses gens : les Israélites soumis à sa juridiction (Exode 18.21). Cette exécution était la satisfaction donnée à la sainteté de l'Eternel et devait faire cesser la plaie.
