Comparer Philémon 1.7,17.

Il faudrait que Philémon renonçât à aimer Paul pour ne pas aimer Onésime. Les manuscrits ne présentent pas moins de quatre leçons différentes pour ce verset Philémon 1.12.

D'après quelques-uns, les mots reçois-le ne seraient pas authentiques ; la construction serait interrompue et reprise seulement à Philémon 1.17 où Paul se décide enfin à formuler sa requête.
