13 et 14 Deux proverbes sur les bienfaits et les méfaits de la langue.

Un piège. Sans paraître bien graves, les péchés de la langue, calomnies, mensonges, exposent aux plus grands dangers ceux qui s'y livrent. La langue du juste peut au contraire le tirer des plus grands embarras, comme le dit le verset 14.
