Le rebelle, littéralement : la rébellion ; abstrait pour concret, comme, au verset 11, mensonge pour menteur.

Un messager cruel, dur, inflexible. Ange de mort (Psaumes 78.49), s'il s'agit d'une révolte contre Dieu ; exécuteur envoyé par le monarque, s'il s'agit d'une révolte politique.
