Comparez Psaumes 137.3-5 ; 138.3-4. Un large cercle de famille est un glorieux diadème sur la tête du vieillard qui en est le chef. Homère a dit de même : Les enfants sont la couronne des pères, comme les tours sont l'ornement des villes.

Et réciproquement, les fils d'un homme distingué bénéficient de la renommée de leur père.
