On y demeure : on y séjourne, on y passe la nuit. Comparez Lévitique 26.6. Quand on a fait de la crainte de Dieu son pain quotidien, son atmosphère habituelle, on peut chaque soir s'endormir rassasié et on n'a aucun mal à redouter.
