La triste issue de leurs années. Dans 17.11 et 20.2 nous avons déjà vu que ceux qui se révoltent contre l'autorité du roi finissent mal.

D'autres, les mêmes lettres (schenéem) étant également susceptibles de ce sens, traduisent : la triste issue des uns comme des autres, des contempteurs de Dieu comme des ennemis du roi.
