World English Bible He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with honor.

Il a répandu. Il va sans dire qu'il n'est pas question ici d'une bienfaisance intéressée, qui trouve sa récompense dans le bruit qu'elle fait ou qui prétend acheter la faveur de Dieu (Matthieu 6.2), mais de celle qui est une forme du don du cœur à Dieu. Comparez Proverbes 11.24 ; 2Corinthiens 9.9.

Sa corne : sa force, redoutable aux méchants. Elle s'élèvera, tandis que celle des impies sera abattue (Psaumes 75.11).
