Psaumes 41.10

    • Psaumes 3

3 But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.

      Psaumes 18

37 I will pursue my enemies, and overtake them. Neither will I turn again until they are consumed.
38 I will strike them through, so that they will not be able to rise. They shall fall under my feet.
39 For you have armed me with strength to the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
40 You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
41 They cried, but there was none to save; even to Yahweh, but he didn't answer them.
42 Then I beat them small as the dust before the wind. I cast them out as the mire of the streets.

      Psaumes 21

8 Your hand will find out all of your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you.
9 You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. Yahweh will swallow them up in his wrath. The fire shall devour them.
10 You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from among the children of men.

      Psaumes 41

10 But you, Yahweh, have mercy on me, and raise me up, that I may repay them.

      Psaumes 57

1 <<For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "Do Not Destroy." A poem by David, when he fled from Saul, in the cave.>> Be merciful to me, God, be merciful to me, for my soul takes refuge in you. Yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will take refuge, until disaster has passed.

      Psaumes 69

22 Let their table before them become a snare. May it become a retribution and a trap.
23 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can't see. Let their backs be continually bent.
24 Pour out your indignation on them. Let the fierceness of your anger overtake them.
25 Let their habitation be desolate. Let no one dwell in their tents.
26 For they persecute him whom you have wounded. They tell of the sorrow of those whom you have hurt.
27 Charge them with crime upon crime. Don't let them come into your righteousness.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of life, and not be written with the righteous.

      Psaumes 109

6 Set a wicked man over him. Let an adversary stand at his right hand.
7 When he is judged, let him come forth guilty. Let his prayer be turned into sin.
8 Let his days be few. Let another take his office.
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10 Let his children be wandering beggars. Let them be sought from their ruins.
11 Let the creditor seize all that he has. Let strangers plunder the fruit of his labor.
12 Let there be no one to extend kindness to him, neither let there be anyone to have pity on his fatherless children.
13 Let his posterity be cut off. In the generation following let their name be blotted out.
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered by Yahweh. Don't let the sin of his mother be blotted out.
      15 Let them be before Yahweh continually, that he may cut off their memory from the earth;
16 because he didn't remember to show kindness, but persecuted the poor and needy man, the broken in heart, to kill them.
17 Yes, he loved cursing, and it came to him. He didn't delight in blessing, and it was far from him.
18 He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment. It came into his inward parts like water, like oil into his bones.
19 Let it be to him as the clothing with which he covers himself, for the belt that is always around him.
20 This is the reward of my adversaries from Yahweh, of those who speak evil against my soul.
      21 But deal with me, Yahweh the Lord, for your name's sake, because your loving kindness is good, deliver me;

      Luc 19

27 But bring those enemies of mine who didn't want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.'"
