World English Bible You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

7 et 8 Sa justice.

Le héros du psaume est au plus haut degré le représentant de la justice divine sur la terre. S'il s'assied sur son trône, c'est pour la faire triompher. De là ce nom, prononcé comme une exclamation : ô dieu ! Ce titre, donné ailleurs aux juges, (voir l'introduction à notre Psaume), l'est ici à ce roi idéal auquel le psalmiste rend hommage et dont la perfection ne s'est trouvée réalisée que dans le Christ. L'épître aux Hébreux a pu appliquer cette parole directement à Christ, parce qu'en effet elle ne s'est pleinement accomplie qu'en lui.
