15 à 18 Détresse du méchant, sécurité du juste.

Ils reviennent... Ce refrain n'est pas seulement une forme poétique. Le psalmiste reproduit la description qu'il a faite plus haut, pour rendre plus frappantes les menaces qui vont suivre. Ils ont erré méchamment (versets 7 et 15) ; ils erreront dans la détresse (verset 16 et 12).

      48 therefore you shall serve your enemies whom Yahweh shall send against you, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron on your neck, until he has destroyed you.
      53 You shall eat the fruit of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters, whom Yahweh your God has given you, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemies shall distress you.
