Ta bonté. Ce n'est pas sans intention que la bonté, la grâce est nommée avec le matin, et la fidélité avec les nuits. L'aurore de chaque jour n'est-elle pas une image, en même temps qu'un témoignage, de la bonté de Dieu, et quand la pensée de la fidélité divine se présente-t-elle mieux à l'esprit et au cœur que durant les nuits, dont elle écarte les dangers ou adoucit la souffrance ?

L'instrument à dix cordes : lyre de grandes dimensions (Psaumes 33.2), avant la forme d'un triangle renversé.
