Par leur méchanceté... Dieu n'aura pas besoin d'autres moyens pour les détruire, que ceux qu'ils lui fournissent eux-mêmes ; en faisant le mal, ils préparent leur propre destruction (Psaumes 7.16).

Détruira..., détruira. Nous trouvons dans ce dernier verset, comme dans le premier du psaume, la même forme de redoublement poétique que nous avons signalée à l'occasion des deux psaumes précédents (voir l'introduction au Psaume 93).
