1 Chroniques 12.17

Et David sortit au devant d'eux et prenant la parole, il leur dit : Si vous êtes venus en paix vers moi pour m'aider, mon coeur vous sera uni ; mais si c'est pour me trahir, [et me livrer] à mes ennemis, quoique je ne sois coupable d'aucune violence, que le Dieu de nos pères le voie, et qu'il en fasse la punition.

      42 Unless the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely now you would have sent me away empty. God has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, and rebuked you last night."

      16 It came to pass, when David had made an end of speaking these words to Saul, that Saul said, "Is this your voice, my son David?" Saul lifted up his voice, and wept.
      17 He said to David, "You are more righteous than I; for you have done good to me, whereas I have done evil to you.

      1 Samuel 26

      23 Yahweh will render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness; because Yahweh delivered you into my hand today, and I wouldn't put forth my hand against Yahweh's anointed.
      24 Behold, as your life was respected this day in my eyes, so let my life be respected in the eyes of Yahweh, and let him deliver me out of all oppression."
