1 Chroniques 21.16

Et David leva les yeux et vit l'ange de l'Éternel se tenant entre la terre et le ciel, ayant en sa main son épée nue étendue sur Jérusalem. Et David et les anciens, couverts de sacs, tombèrent sur leurs faces.
David lève les yeux et il voit l’ange qui se tient entre ciel et terre. Celui-ci tient son épée à la main et la tourne contre Jérusalem. Alors David et les anciens, portant des habits de deuil, se mettent à genoux, le front contre le sol.
Or David élevant ses yeux vit l'Ange de l'Eternel qui était entre la terre et le ciel, ayant dans sa main son épée nue, tournée contre Jérusalem. Et David et les Anciens couverts de sacs, tombèrent sur leurs faces.
