1 Chroniques 25.1

David et les chefs de l'armée mirent à part pour le service, ceux des fils d'Asaph, d'Héman et de Jéduthun, qui prophétisaient avec des harpes, des lyres et des cymbales. Et voici le nombre des hommes employés pour le service qu'ils devaient faire :
David et les chefs de l’armée mirent à part pour le service ceux des fils d’Asaph, d’Hémân et de Yedoutoun qui prophétisaient en s’accompagnant de harpes, de luths et de cymbales. C’est là le nombre de ceux qui avaient des fonctions à remplir :
David, secondé par les chefs des équipes responsables du culte, mit à part les descendants d’Assaf, de Héman et de Yedoutoun ; ils chantaient les messages de Dieu en s’accompagnant de lyres, de harpes et de cymbales. Voici la liste des hommes effectuant ce service :

      20 and Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;
      21 and Mattithiah, and Eliphelehu, and Mikneiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the eight-stringed lyre, to lead.

      1 Chroniques 16

      4 He appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Yahweh, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel:
      5 Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with stringed instruments and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;
      41 and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his loving kindness endures forever;
      42 and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.

      2 He gathered together all the princes of Israel, with the priests and the Levites.
      5 four thousand were doorkeepers; and four thousand praised Yahweh with the instruments which I made, for giving praise."
      6 David divided them into divisions according to the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

      5 Thus were they divided impartially by drawing lots; for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
      6 Shemaiah the son of Nethanel the scribe, who was of the Levites, wrote them in the presence of the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the fathers' households of the priests and of the Levites; one fathers' house being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.

      1 Moreover, David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals: and the number of those who did the work according to their service was:
      3 Of Jeduthun; the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun with the harp, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising Yahweh.

      1 In the seventh year Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, and Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, and Azariah the son of Obed, and Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri, into covenant with him.
      9 Jehoiada the priest delivered to the captains of hundreds the spears, and bucklers, and shields, that had been king David's, which were in God's house.
      13 and she looked, and, behold, the king stood by his pillar at the entrance, and the captains and the trumpets by the king; and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew trumpets; the singers also played musical instruments, and led the singing of praise. Then Athaliah tore her clothes, and said, "Treason! treason!"

      25 He set the Levites in the house of Yahweh with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king's seer, and Nathan the prophet; for the commandment was of Yahweh by his prophets.
      26 The Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.

      2 Chroniques 31

      2 Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and the Levites after their divisions, every man according to his service, both the priests and the Levites, for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the camp of Yahweh.

      Esdras 3

      46 For in the days of David and Asaph of old there was a chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.

      2 Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.

      2 to proclaim your loving kindness in the morning, and your faithfulness every night,
      3 with the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, and with the melody of the lyre.

      1 Corinthiens 14

      24 But if all prophesy, and someone unbelieving or unlearned comes in, he is reproved by all, and he is judged by all.
      25 And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed. So he will fall down on his face and worship God, declaring that God is among you indeed.
      26 What is it then, brothers? When you come together, each one of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has another language, has an interpretation. Let all things be done to build each other up.

      2 I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who overcame the beast, his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.
      3 They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty! Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.
      4 Who wouldn't fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you only are holy. For all the nations will come and worship before you. For your righteous acts have been revealed."
