Cette apparition du Seigneur à Céphas, ou Pierre, est mentionnée Luc 24.34.

Quant aux douze apôtres, ils l'ont vu très souvent après sa résurrection. (Jean 20.19 et suivants ; Luc 24.36 et suivants ; Actes 1.3) Ils n'étaient plus que onze ; mais cette dénomination les douze était devenue si habituelle, qu'elle resta même après la chute de Judas.
