Cette conduite insolente montre jusqu'à quel point Sédécias se sentait en faveur auprès du roi.

Par où a passé l'Esprit... ? Raillerie propre à couvrir de ridicule la parole de Michée. Sédécias ne doute pas qu'il n'ait été lui-même, en parlant comme il l'a fait, l'organe de l'Esprit. Il est la dupe de sa propre inspiration.
