Ainsi le roi Joas oublia toute la bienveillance dont Yehoyada, le père de Zacharie, avait fait preuve envers lui, et il fit tuer son fils. Zacharie dit en mourant : —Que l’Eternel voie et qu’il fasse rendre compte !
