He took courage, and built up all the wall that was broken down, and raised it up to the towers, and the other wall outside, and strengthened Millo in the city of David, and made weapons and shields in abundance.
Ézéchias prit courage ; il reconstruisit la muraille qui était en ruine et l'éleva jusqu'aux tours, bâtit un autre mur en dehors, fortifia Millo dans la cité de David, et prépara une quantité d'armes et de boucliers.

Segond 21 Ezéchias prit courage. Il répara toutes les brèches faites à la muraille et suréleva les tours ainsi que l’autre muraille, à l’extérieur, fortifia la terrasse de Millo dans la ville de David et prépara un grand nombre d'armes et de boucliers.

Partout où elle avait des brèches. Les travaux d'Ozias (26.9) et de Jotham (27.3) pouvaient n'avoir pas réparé entièrement le dommage raconté 25.23, et d'autres dégâts s'étaient sans doute produits.
