Ainsi, outre le secours temporel offert à des frères dans le besoin, voilà les bénédictions spirituelles qui en seront le fruit. (versets 13,14)

Par là, les chrétiens de la Palestine, dont plusieurs pouvaient encore avoir des préjugés contre leurs frères convertis du paganisme, apprendraient à les connaître, à glorifier Dieu à leur sujet, à admirer leur obéissance, leur générosité, à les aimer, à prier pour eux ; une intime communion s'établira ainsi entre ces deux fractions de l'Eglise de Jésus-Christ. Il y a, dans les œuvres de la vraie charité, une impérissable bénédiction.
