Je t'ai rendu petit... La destruction d'Edom est tellement certaine et irrévocable que Dieu en parle comme d'un fait déjà accompli.

Petit... méprisé. Pour les adorateurs de la force, comme le sont les hommes charnels, le mépris est la conséquence fatale de la perte de la puissance. Ce mépris sera la rétribution de l'orgueil actuel d'Edom (verset 3).
