Ecclésiaste 7.4

L’attention du sage se porte au lieu où l’on pleure un deuil, celle de l’*insensé au lieu où l’on se livre à la joie.

Conclusion des versets 2 et 3. Le sérieux étant salutaire, et la frivolité dangereuse, le cœur du sage le porte dans la maison de deuil. Où est le trésor, là est le cœur. Le sage va consoler ceux qui pleurent et, quand il les quitte, son cœur reste avec eux.
