Le roi dans sa beauté : le roi de Juda, tant humilié par les païens (37.1 ; Michée 5.1), alors glorifié par la victoire et se présentant à son peuple dans toute sa dignité d'oint de l'Eternel (Psaumes 45.3).

Une terre ouverte au loin : c'est-à-dire tout le pays de la promesse ; tandis qu'au temps de l'épreuve ils étaient enfermés dans les murs de Jérusalem. Comparez 26.15.
