Sur les lèvres la louange : littéralement le fruit des lèvres, c'est-à-dire l'action de grâces et la confession du nom de l'Eternel (Hébreux 13.15). Ce joyeux témoignage sortira de la bouche de ceux mêmes qui pleuraient. Comparez le cantique d'Ezéchias guréri succédant à ses larmes, chapitre 38.

Celui qui est loin et celui qui est près : les païens et Israël, ainsi que l'entend saint Paul (Ephésiens 2.17).
